  • I have been dedicated to the Montessori method of education for over 40 years.

My youngest brother attended Montessori schools and I instantly fell in love with the philosophy and method of education, resolving to learn all that I could.

I received my AMI (Association Montessori Internationale) credential as an Assistant to Infancy (specializing in pre-natal life to the age of 3 years) studying with Silvana Mantanaro in Houston and in Rome, Italy and worked for 16 years in a well-recognized Montessori school in the Houston area.

I was fortunate enough to be asked to facilitate the opening of an infant Montessori program in Buenos Aires, Argentina where my son was born.

My dream of owning my own school was realized in 2005 when I started Lakeview Montessori on the Hill with the help of family and friends. We have served this community for almost 20 years!

I simply can’t imagine doing anything else in life as rewarding as the work that we do with children every day.

When not working, I enjoy time spent with family and friends.

I love cooking and trying new recipes, reading, listening to music and playing with my two cats.
